Participation Application for
Students & Parents

Parents and students, please complete this application together.

Loyola Guild is excited to invite you to a reimagined Christmas Tree Lane a Senior Celebration!   It will be a celebration of seniors, not a traditional fashion show. You can be you! Your personality, your clothes. The focus will be on you and your accomplishments at Jesuit and paired with the Christmas spirit and song that is the signature of this event.  The Loyola Guild would like to highlight your interests and hobbies including arts and music, ministry, sports, academic, volunteer, clubs, and leadership.

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • 2-3 rehearsals that fit your schedule: (we will communicate with school administration early on to ensure your time missed from school activities is approved)
  • Tuesday Eve Senior Celebration on November 19 at 3:30pm (show is 5pm-7pm)
    • Wednesday Senior Celebration on November 20 at 9:00am (show is 10am-12pm, return to school after lunch)

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Your mother or mother figure will be asked to join you in a walk during Senior Celebration
  • You will wear your own clothes that will match your accomplishments and involvement at Jesuit.  For example, if you play a sport, the production team may want you to wear something related to your team, like a shirt or jersey.

Loyola Guild wants to make this a memorable recognition of your time at Jesuit.  We hope you will say yes to being part of the annual Christmas Tree Lane Senior Celebration!

All students applying must be in good academic standing, have good attendance, and conduct records, or you may be disqualified by your school from participating.  Participation will be approved by the Dean of Students.

Student Participant Contracts

Participants in the Loyola Guild of Jesuit High School CTL Senior Celebration (and a parent/guardian if a minor), by signing this agreement, release the Senior Celebration Choreographer from any liability in the event that an accident or injury is sustained during meetings, rehearsals and/or performances. Participants must be careful at all times while rehearsing on campus and at the venue, in dressing rooms/off stage at the venue, navigating up and down the stairs to and from the stage, and while walking & dancing on the elevated stage and runway. Participants with pre-existing health conditions must be extremely cautious during this event. The models of the Loyola Guild CTL Senior Celebration also acknowledge by signing this agreement that there is potential for injury as with any other activity and consider themselves aware of such risk.
Signature for All CTL Student Participant Contracts

As with our Drama Department, bands and athletic teams, we consider students participating in our Christmas Tree Lane Senior Celebration to be representatives of Jesuit High School. With this in mind, we want students to understand that we take seriously the behavior of each student who participates. The office of the Dean of Students is articulating the policies in an attempt to clarify any confusion. All participating students and a parent must read this contract and sign below.

The following criteria should be firmly in mind throughout the time you are at the venue and any time you are on the Jesuit campus for the CTL event.

1. CTL Senior Celebration participants have signed agreements with the CTL committee to attend applicable meetings, rehearsal dates, and performances.

2. CTL Senior Celebration participants must not drop out of the fashion show unless there is an unforeseen emergency. We ask all participants to honor this commitment.

3. Our expectation is that student behavior will at all times (at meetings, rehearsals, and performances) conform to the rules contained in the Jesuit Student-Parent Handbook.

4. Students scheduled to serve JUG during scheduled CTL rehearsals are not exempt from JUG. They must speak directly with the Dean for any modification.

5. All students are expected to attend school all-day Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, after the show. No excused absences due to Senior Celebration participation.

7. We cannot cover every possible situation here. Our expectation is that all students will conduct themselves as responsible young adults. Students will be expected to follow the letter and spirit of the rules that govern student behavior at Jesuit High School.

Almost done. Where should we send the confirmation?
